2008 Acceptances

Congratulations Meg!

That’s a huge achievement! I truly believe you’ll end up being accepted! Just try to be patient for a little bit longer

Kasia

How very exciting, Meg! It sounds like the odds are good. I wish you the best!

David

This is a good step! I will cross my fingers for you.

Congratulations! I’ve been looking forward to reading this from you all week long. What a great mood-lifter for the holidays. Enjoy.

Mary

Congrats, Meg! I know that is news that you’ve been waiting to hear. I’m sure you will end up as one of the ones with an actual spot.

Congratulations Meg, sounds very promising!

Congrats Adam (I can tell you are a funny guy!) and congrats to Stacy - I love all the good news. I hope we all get good news in the coming months! Merry Christmas,Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

thanks for the really cool Christmas story! I actually spoke with NOVA and we are working out an extension on paying the deposit. As for applying to Texas, you have to apply really early and you need to check your status often. The system can be kind of frustrating, but at the same time it’s very cheap to apply (as compared to AMCAS). When do you plan to take the MCAT? I would definitely take it in the spring and work on those glowing letters of recommendation! It took two tries but I feel good about it this year! Good luck and nice to meet you too!

Thanks guys! I have a good feeling and can finally relax a little. I’ve been super-stressed out with work and home life culminating in a week-long (so far) case of strep throat and flu.

So it was definitely most welcome news!

I’ll update more after I find out more.

Best of luck to everyone else still waiting.

Congratulations on all the acceptances.

I’ve received two acceptances thus far: SUNY Downstate and Cornell. Cornell emailed me this past Thursday and for the first 5 minutes I just couldn’t believe it. They accept most of their class in March but do notify a small group in December. I feel so fortunate to have heard from them early.

When I attended the 2003 OPM conference I was still very undecided and fearful. Here I am, nearly 5 years later, with acceptances to medical schools. It’s finally going to happen. So don’t give up and don’t worry about how long it will take. You will make it!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Hilda

Congratulations Hilda!!

Congrats, Hilda! That’s a great accomplishment .

Very impressive Hilda

Hilda - thanks for sharing your fantastic news! For someone just starting on this journey as I am, it’s motivating to see the successes of others to achieve what I am set out to do.

Adam

Cornell! Congrats!

Yet another congrats, Hilda!!! Enjoy the holidays!

Good for you Hilda! Congratulations. Onward and upward!

David

Thanks, everyone!

Happy holidays and best wishes for 2008!

Kris
