they have drop down boxes for MCAT scores - for verbal, I have a 13-15.
What do I choose - 13 or 15 ? I'm inclined to pick 15 - but does anyone know what is wanted here? (no, I haven't called and asked them yet).

The AAMC reports the 13-15 VR score as 13 if there is no room for explanations or “13-15”.
Any place that creates combined scores treats it as a 13 too.
