Anyone going to OMED?

Ohio Medical Education Day is being held on October 5th at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. It goes from 8–4 and today is the last day to register!

Here is info I received from my advisor:

The Ohio Medical Schools and the Ohio Advisors for the Health Professions will be hosting the first Ohio Medical Education Day (OMED) this fall on Saturday, October 5, 2013, on the campus of Mount Vernon Nazarene University (googlemaps suggests that it will take about 2 hours to get to MVNU). Registration begins at 8:00am and the day ends at 4:00pm.

This event is for undergraduate pre-med students who are either Ohio residents or attending an Ohio college or university. Former students also are welcome; however, anyone who is currently in the 2013-2014 application cycle is not eligible to register. (Students will be required to affirm that they qualify during the registration process.) The $ 15 registration fee covers a continental breakfast and lunch. (Parking is free, but a parking sign is needed to gain access to the correct parking locations. This will be available online during registration.) Registration is limited to the first 500 students.

The following topics will be presented by medical school representatives and Ohio advisors:
