Anyone in the Chicago-NW suburbs area out there?

Just curious if there was anyone in my neck of the woods. I’m almost at the Wisconsin border in McHenry. Trying to find some kindred spirits-so to speak.

I used to live up there not tooooo far from Woodfield Mall up until a few years ago; however I now live in the UK. Perhaps not to much help…

I also live in the Chicago area.

I’m in what I suppose could be called the far, far, FAR sw burbs. Same half of the state, at least!

I’m a lurker—have never posted but I am in the far north 'burbs not too far from the WI border. I actually work at the med school I attended briefly and want to return to as a student.

Good for you! I have a guess at what school you are referring to but I will not list it here in case you don’t want to broadcast it. You’re really not far from me at all.

I lived like 15 minutes or so from Woodfield in Wood Dale; even had my first job at Arby’s in the mall way back in the day. I miss living out there as it was much closer to pretty much everything, but it’s much more affordable where I am at now. Trade-off’s you know.

My birth certificate is in Ottawa. Does that count? :-) And grew up in Evanston.

That it does, though I'm not entirely sure how quick I would be to claim anything from this town Most of the sane ones here are trying to get out!!
