In today’s lab we got to perform a reaction to make copper sulfide. One girl managed to slice her hand despite the fact that we were not using any sharp instruments. She’s gonna be ok but I was surprised when I was the only one trying to get help for her. All the other kids were making mad dashes to the analytical balances to weigh their samples.
On a more hilarious note … I smell like egg farts now because of all the stupid sulfur.
Lucky you. As dangerous as it got for us was boiling water…but it boiled at 90 degrees…straight from the tap, so, not even dangerous there. Yes, our entire lab we played with high quality H2O.
Did she need anything like stitches? Or was it not that exciting?
