For someone who has a Bachelors (with a high GPA) and a strong resume, albeit outside the healthcare realm, are community college credits acceptable for predental/premed?
I suggest calling the medical schools you’re interested in and asking, or researching the pre-reqs on the website. Some flat out will not accept community college credits for pre-reqs, while others “strongly suggest” classes from a four-year institution. Others don’t mention it.
It’s best to look into it before diving in to avoid having to retake classes later, which negates any money you would have saved. Know which doors you’re potentially closing on yourself and where it won’t matter as much.
