Community college red flag

I heard that community college is a red flag for med school. However, I took a lot of community college classes because of my financial problems. My grades is 4.0 so far. I wonder if I would get into medical school if majority of my classes are from community college.

“Community college red flags” is a buzz phrase. Some medical schools would like to see that you can take upper level science courses at a university level, but from everything that I’ve seen it doesn’t really matter. Ochem/biochem at a community college level might tip some people off to look at you further, but in no way would it outright stop you from getting into a med school - it would be a much larger issue than this.
