Decision Fatigue. Excellent article.

I think it’s an excellent read, and it touches on everything from the application process (and the AdComs’ process as well!) to wedding planning to poverty. Also recommends you don’t get called before a judge right before lunch.

A couple of other links that address almost the same thing, for those interested:

Great article… I wonder what one’s decision fatigue and/or ego depletion would be after the MCAT? Ben & Jerry’s & Fill-in-the-blank Pizzaria should set up outside testing centers, because they would make a KILLING…

*Note to self: Don’t be the last admissions interview at the end of a long day!

This also explains a lot about decisions we made when building our home. We did flooring last, and we still look back and wonder how we got talked into spending so much on our hardwoods. Well, now I know!! After 5 hours of picking our cabinet knobs and paint colors, we just flat out couldn’t handle it any more!!

Never mind the pizza & ice cream, they need to set up a bar after that thing.

I don't know about the rest of you, but after my MCAT, I pretended I was an olive and dove head first into a giant Martini!

Ooooh, even better! They could probably charge double, and no one would even care…

Any takers on a business partnership? I make a MEAN martini!

Definitely had my worst block on step2CK today right before lunch. Though I tried to stay well-sugared the whole day

Thank you for sharing that! Great article!
