I am a 49 year old IMG from India. by the time I clear all my steps, I will be 50+years. will it be fruitful to apply for a surgical residency (like OBGYN) at this age?
My life till now had been quite unpredictable because I faced many adversities. but at 44 years, I returned to my unfinished med school in India and completed my MBBS at 49 years.
I don’t have any other academic qualification in between. I am fully committed to my field. will I be accepted by US med schools at this age?
