I’m currently taking classes at a local CC w/ plans to transfer next semester or next fall (sophomore year)I’m 25 and I’m just getting back to school after a long hiatus. Worked as a musician for 5 years. Wanted to be a doctor since I was ten…that desire’s only getting stronger. Became an EMT over the summer. Volunteering in a local ED. … Beginning to trudge the premed path! Grateful to have found such a wonderful network at such an exciting & challenging time.

I just discovered this wonderful group, and at a great time…have been thinking I’m so old at 47 (almost 48) applying to med school. I’ve been a registered dietitian for over 20 years, and have written 3 books and speak internationally on weight loss surgery…hoping to be an obesity medicine physician.
I’ve been inspired reading the posts so far, so thanks to all for being here!
