I officially start my post-bac next week after a couple days of orientation. I’m so excited. I got incredibly nervous headed into this week, but my program seems so supportive. They’re pretty clear that cutthroat competitors aren’t welcome if that means screwing over your classmates.
We had a little reality check today with the director of admissions with the medical school. She mentioned that every med school class is like 30 credits of undergrad. Whoa!
But if all goes as planned, I’ll have a Dr. before my name in 6-7 years. I’m so ready to get started.
Where is your post bac?
I’m at Jefferson in Philly. I’m really excited about how the school has welcomed in the new post-bac program and how the medical students work with us on projects, professional development, etc.
