I'm glad I'm old.

I read that AA thread this weekend and I was totally LMAO!!! Thanks for pointing it out.
I've met some really great people on SDN, but I definitely prefer to hang out here! I would never go to a SDN convention, but I'm really bummed I'm missing the OPM one this year!

Yap, I’m glad I’m old…and more experienced, and more aware of what life is like outside “the box”. I agree that SDN is full of immature kids and I go there to see what my future classmates are like. They’re a real source of entertainment.
One of the docs I work for said that it should be a requirement for future med students to take a few years off to experience life outside of school because it’s a real learning experience and life cannot be learned in school alone. I completely agree with him.
