Wanted to get your opinion on the MCAT timing thing: I’m mainly interested in 2 or 3 med schools and want to get my application in early. Could take it May 28th but would be more comfortable June 18th. If the rest of my application & transcripts are all in before then, do you think it will make much difference in terms of being ahead of the crowd? Also does anyone know when the registration for the June test will open? And also, what’s the scoop on the test prep courses/materials out there?

IMO the earlier the better-- I wish I had known what my “official” score would have been when I submitted my amcas- It would have changed my application strategy.
