Just stumbled on this article

Good day to you all,

This is a good read.

Have a good one.

Nice one - this is exactly the career change I’m making now. It’s definitely a new way of thinking, but I see so many connections between science and journalism in the way you need to think and approach things.

There was also this article in Slate last year about a similar career change: http://www.slate.com/articles/life/the_hiv e/2013/0…

An interesting article. I could not help but ponder and wonder that if being age 39 makes one the oldest in one’s medical school class (as the Dr. Biemer states), then I am going to be a real outsider/outlier in medical school as I just turned 50. And I haven’t even finished medical school as has Dr. Biemer.

datsa - yeah, you’ll probably be the outlier. But the 35 year old and 39 year old will probably be your friends

Actually, some of the “young” ones in my class are my buddies also.
