How do people feel about the MD/PHD program? I’m interested purely because I like research so much. Anybody have any experience with it or know anything about it? Thanks.

There are many researchers who don’t have the PhD degree. I would advise looking at the faculty/staff at your local medical school or some biotech companies… you’ll probably notice that 30-50% of them just have M.D. Someone may correct me on this but the M.D. is a terminal degree and, based on residency and post-graduation activities, research is not out of the realm of an M.D. (especially clinical research).
