Medical school application question

Hi,
I’m applying to med school this cycle and I’m wondering if I should put down emt as clinical experience even though I won’t be certified until August 2022? Also, would this seem like checking a box? I wanted to do the emt class last summer, but the classes were full and I didn’t have the money.

I had a similar thing come up on my application last year where I knew I would be doing research over the summer but it wouldn’t start until after my application had been submitted. I left it off of my application because I didn’t have any hours and I had no way of describing what I was doing because I hadn’t done it yet.
