I’m a Canadian non-trad looking to go to medical school anywhere in the US, Canada, or UK.
I’m 31, B.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Pharmacology.
I am also very non traditional as I’ve been a traveling circus performer for the last 6 (or so) years.
During my the school years of my undergrad I worked part time in a medical clinic as a Physician assistant and full time during the summers. I am currently employed as a research assistant.
I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good Medical school Advisor, I have a weak undergrad gpa and a strong grad gpa. I wrote the MCAT in september and I scored about average. I had been considering applying to the Atlantic bridge program in Ireland for the 2018 cycle, but with my average MCAT score, I didn’t think I would be competitive enough.
I want to know if there’s a consultant that I can sit down with (figuratively) who can semi-definitively point in a direction for assured success. I do plan on writing the MCAT again, it was far from my best performance.
Please let me know.
Thanks
