I’m still numb from it. I just got back to Minnesota today from Pennsylvania. She was a wonderfully traditional Italian grandma and I loved her so dearly. Its hard, she died from breast cancer we found out, I was just treated for breast cancer a 18 months ago and that really hit hard. She was 89 and here name was Alma. The school I am starting at in the Fall is called Hamline University and they had a big billboard last year that said “Your Alma Matters”. I took a picture of it and sent it to Grandma and she loved it. Her funeral was yesterday. I love her so much and will miss her so incredibly much that I can’t bear to think about it. I’m sorry to hear that, Mehgan. You and your family have my warmest thoughts and best wishes. It’s obvious how much you love her, and I’m sure she felt that from you, as well. And that feeling is something that nobody and nothing can take from you.
