So I’ve been kind of a lurker for a few months now, but I thought I should go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Melissa and I’m 31 years old. I have a BS in Chemical Engineering and about a year ago I finally decided to pursue my crazy dream of becoming a doctor. I say crazy just because I never imagined at this age I would want to tackle such a daunting career! LOL!
It is so encouraging to see others my age and older traveling this path!
Melissa - welcome! Yes, you are in good company. I usually refer to it as crazy as well since that’s what some folks think (myself included occasionally) —>but it’s a GOOD kind of crazy
