Hi Folks, I have $25k in student loans from a previous schooling stint. Would I need to get these paid off before I can apply for med school loans? Thanks!
Short answer - no. Your loans will be put in deferment while you are back in school at least half-time pursuing pre-reqs or med school. Many med students have far more than $25K in undergrad loans.
