Well I have enjoyed reading the many inspiring posts on OPM. Now I am ready to begin my journey in August at Samuel Merritt University, to study Podiatric Medicine. My goal to become a surgeon will be a difficult but exciting journey. I was so excited on my acceptance I quickly ordered my textboks for the first semester and established my school email account. I will keep you all informed during my journey and offer any pearls of wisdom I may have. Don’t give up on your pursuits to medicine.

Way to go . It is not simply Samuel Merritt but the California College of Podiatric Medicine. My brother is a graduate of there in 1979 and is a very successful doctor and surgeon in the LA area and is very involved in the state association.
