Hi everyone! In my second year of undergrad I took Bio II as a pass fail (my grade was a 76% when I talked to my professor). I took it as a pass/fail because at the time my focus was completely on raising my GPA. I have spoken to the pre-med advisor at my school but I end up leaving discouraged and with more questions than answers when I go talk to her. So my question is: should I retake Bio II, or take the next bio level up (Genetics)? Thanks
You should likely retake that Bio II class since it’s a premed requirement and medical schools will want to assess your performance in it. This depends somewhat, however, on when you took that class; it would obviously look strange if you took it recently and then repeated it.
