I just listened to Dr. Gray’s Premed Years episode 432 where he basically tears to shreds the USNWR ranking methodology. But if they’re complete and utter garbage, then how else would you suggest evaluating schools based on quality of education, student resources, and favorability for residency applications? I mean, sure you can point out flaws in the methodology, but unless you propose something different then I think people are going to continue using it because there’s very little other tools to compare schools.
