I will say that PBL is very different than most things you’ve been exposed to… it’s even more different than collaborative work that you’ve probably been exposed to…
I do think that you learn more in the way of clinical response to solving problems. One thing I find frustrating is the limitations that PBL has…
the cases are set… the learning issues are in some ways quite narrow… and I often find that frustrating because I think we need to study more broadly…
it can be a very good approach…
