2 questions - Pre - Req Conflict of Interest and Clinical Experience

Hi There! I have two questions for the brain trust today.

(1) I’m a non-trad looking to take my first pre-req course. I currently work at a small liberal arts school (also my undergrad alma mater) and as an employee can take one free class per semester. I am thinking about taking Chemistry in the Spring. I work closely with a lot of STEM faculty in my role (grant management). Will completing my pre-reqs taught by co-workers/colleagues be a conflict of interest to medical schools? I’m confident we’re all professional enough to manage the working relationship outside of the roles of teacher/student.

(2) I’m thinking of getting a phlebotomy certification so that I can volunteer at free clinics and at blood donation centers. Would this type of work be considered clinical experience (especially for red cross blood donation events)?
