Hello all,


I am in the process of putting together the first NorthEast Regional conference for March 18, 2012. Currently the topics I am planning on having for this one day event including:


Pre-med track:

  1. overcome a poor GPA

  2. acing the MCAT

  3. how to write a good personal statement


    Med track

  4. be competitive for the match

  5. rock the boards.

  6. personal statement for residency


    LUNCH AND VENDOR FAIR


    for both:


    Financial planning


    Spouse panel


    I plan on calling in ExamKrackers for the MCAT dicussion, have the UMDNJ-SOM admissions director talk about overcoming a poor GPA, bring in a professional financial advisor, and have some students there for the panel.
