Advice on remaining schedule

Anyone wanna take a look at my remaining schedule and tell me yay or nay? Thoughts and advice? Also my university does two 5 week summer sessions, so that is something to consider. Thanks in advance! I’ll attach the spreadsheet of classes. I’m a bio major, so that’s why there’s so much excess bio.

chem 1251/1252 is gen chem 1&2 by the way

and bio 2120 and 2130 are gen bio 1&2 with a lab (2140) to clarify

I would plan on taking the MCAT after Fall of 2019, so intense studying of winter break, and occasional studying throughout spring 2020 semester and take it before AMCAS opens in June (correct time frame? feel free to correct me if wrong)

I should mention I’m 27 as of September 2017, so I’ll be 30 around applying time.

So you’re schedule looks great and it’s nice to see you’re not loading to much on yourself each semester since it looks like it’s very STEM heavy. I’m assuming you’re also doing some clinical experience work during this and/or shadowing? The only concern comes with the fall 2019/spring 2020 as you stated that you’ll be taking the MCAT in spring of 2020. Most people want to allow time in order to take the MCAT twice in order to do it again in case they don’t do well the first time. The MCAT should be something you are really focused on not something you occasionally study for. So around when are you thinking of taking the MCAT, which month exactly? I know you’re just speculating because it’s so far off, but it’s good you’re planning now. You should start studying somewhere between 3-6 months before the MCAT and that’s going to be hard when you’re taking a heavy load both of those semesters. My suggestion, if possible, would be to take Spanish, Sociology, Immunology, and/or Stats in the summers previously so you can focus a majority of your time on the MCAT and padding up the areas where you lack i.e. shadowing, clinical experience, volunteer, interview skills, personal statement, etc.
