Any recommendations?

I’m about halfway into Intern Blues. First reaction, these kids were kind of a bunch of whiners. . .but I guess that was the point. If I kept a diary of any job I’ve ever had, it would be all whining too.

Anyway, my main reason for reading it was to be scared a bit. And I feel like I’ve worked comparable hours (though shorter on average), with stress (though probably a lot different), and I feel like my home life will be easier. So in short, its giving me a bit of confidence instead of fear. Which is nice. I’m still a long long long ways away from being there, so I have plenty of time ahead of me to get spooked. And obviously reading it is a lot different than living it.

But I was wondering, does anyone have recommendations for other good books, movies, or anything along the lines of Intern Blues? Maybe something more recent, or you might feel is more accurate, etc.?

As always. . .thanks! And sorry if this is already posted somewhere. . .

Singular Intimacies: Becoming a Doctor at Bellevue by Danielle Ofri

All excellent in their own way. There are lots of others but these are the ones I have read, and can recommend. Enjoy!
