Anyone here use the Kaplan admissions consulting packages to get into med school? I’m curious how beneficial it was for you and would you recommend it? Is the advising worth the high cost of $100-$150/hr???

In my personal opinion, no. Before I applied in 2005, I went and met with the admissions directors at each of my state schools (three in all) and got terrific app counseling for free, straight from the horse's mouth. But I know other people have made use of app counseling services and swear by them. You're going to have to figure out whether it's worth it to you; there's no absolute right or wrong here.
