I know the community college vs. 4 year college thing has been debated to the ground so I won’t wake up the monster - but on another note!
What about liberal arts college vs. a university? I’m stuck with a decision on going to the well known USC (South Carolina), or Winthrop University. It’s actually pretty well ranked in the south-eastern region of the US, and is of coruse well known in SC, GA, NC. Outside of those states, not so much.
Do the AdComs care if they’ve “heard” of the school or just as long as they know it’s a 4-year institution and not a community college ?
