So I got this flyer for the Army Medical School scholarship, sounded too good to be true, so I called to get more information. Still sounds too good to be true, so I was wondering if anyone here went this route and what were your experiences? I did a search on SDN and read equally negative and positive remarks, but too much conflicting info about years of service (4 vs 8), choice of residency (yours vs theirs), medical tours, elimination of the medical tours, Army pay + physician pay vs. only Army pay alone, and whether or not being in the Army Reserves is “in the Army” or not.
