Hello Everyone ,
As a pre-med student preparing to enter medical school, I would appreciate hearing from others who have been through this process before. I would highly appreciate your views and have a few concerns as I get ready for this big change.
Getting Used to the Demanding Curriculum: Which study methods or approaches did you found most useful for adjusting to the demanding coursework of medical school? Which tools or techniques did you find most useful for learning the subject matter?
Juggling studies and personal obligations: Juggling medical school with other responsibilities can be challenging. In your first year, how did you managed to strike a good work-life balance? What are some strategies for avoiding burnout while maintaining academic vigour?
Creating a Support Network: Having a robust support network can help a lot. During your journey, how did you establish relationships with faculty, mentors, and peers? Do you have any particular strategies that you find useful for fostering relationships with your teachers and fellow students?
Mental and Emotional Preparation: A lot of the time, medical school’s psychological and emotional demands are disregarded. What guidance would you offer someone getting ready for the emotionally taxing nature of medical school?
