I wanted to ask this here before spending an entire day calling a bunch of pre med admissions offices in case someone has had a similar experience.
Here are the classes I took for bio at my old university
Science of biology - 2 credits (first in pre med bio series)
Principles of biology - 3 credits (basically general bio)
NO LAB for either of these classes. The lab at my old university was a separate class after micro.
Fast forward to now. I am doing a post bac and will take all of the following classes for bio
Micro - 4 credits w/ lab
Cell bio - 4 credits w/ lab
Genetics - 4 credits w/lab
I have no intention of taking intro to bio a third time just to get the lab. Have any of you only had second semester bio lab + upper level labs and been ok?
