I wanted to ask about my chemistry courses. I’m a first-generation college student at the University of Iowa with a single mother who came to the U.S as refugee in 2009 from Nepal.
I struggled a lot my first year of college handling my classes and job outside of college. I got a C in general chemistry, and a C- on mathematics for biological sciences. I did not retake the course and went to take Principles of Chemistry I where I got a C but all other courses were better. I retook Principals of Chemistry I and got a B.
I’m a sophomore now and all my classes are looking great except for Principles of Chemistry II. I’m standing at C+ right now. I don’t know how my final grade will look. Should I retake it if i get a C or C+?
