I currently work at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Maryland as a Clinical Assistant I. I work directly (1:1) with patients with autism and aggressive tendencies in an inpatient unit collecting data, managing behavior, implementing treatment protocols, and assisting with ADLs. My supervisors have never been super clear about if this counts as clinical hours, but none of them are doctors so I’m not sure they would know anyways. Would this count? I love my job here, but if it doesn’t count towards clinical hours then I would find another job that does.
