Concurrent: Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry

Hey all,

Post-bacc student here. I’ll be taking my first semester of orgo concurrently with my only semester of biochem this fall in order to be ready for the MCAT in Spring 2017. I know I need to look ahead into my orgo textbook and teach myself as much as I can before the semester begins, but are there any major concepts that I should try to nail to be caught up with biochem when it starts? Thanks for the help!

They’ll probably cover it early in orgo, but review acid/base and orbital energy. That’s probably the core to understanding the rest of the mechanisms.

Great, thank you!
