I have a quick question…I am currently reviewing my App and preparing for the 2013 cycle…I do have a D (1.5) on my transcript for a 1cr. gen chem II lab…is there any way I can retake the course and still be able to apply on time for 2013? And I am graduating this year so I do have a year off, can I take the course this summer while retaking the MCAT? Is there any way that I can state that I will retake the class on AAMCOMAS?
Well, you can definitely retake the course during the summer, of course. I don’t know what your timeline looks like in terms of the class schedule, and I don’t know all the logistics of grade replacement for AACOMAS, so I’m afraid I can’t help with that.
What I will tell you is that you should be prepared to explain that D on both your application and in an interview.
