Hi
My name is Ellie I’m 28 years old and planning to start my premed journey this fall but have some fears and concerns about which route to take. I did not have any formal/traditional four year degree at a state university. I started off as an Lpn at a private vocational school then transitioned to RN at Carrington College then my BSN at Grand Canyon University. I had taken some classes back in college and university but had a very low GPA (2.5) due to financial hardship and mispriorities. My cumulative GPA from nursing. School is 3.25 for my Adn and 4.0 for my BSN. Please I would like some professional advise on either going for a 2nd bachelor degree in health studies or a Diy post Bacc to take just the classes I need. Thanks
Do a second bachelor’s–you’ll need all of that coursework to prove that you can excel in science courses and to bring up your GPA, as well. I would do it not in “health studies” but in a science discipline.
