Doctors Without Borders

Hello,

I am almost 27 years old, just about to enter my third term of my first year of a post-bacc. I did a social sciences undergrad and then worked in retail for a few years after my mom got sick and I came home to take care of her. This past summer I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do in the future, and I had always had medical school in the back of my mind, but had never truly looked into it. I have also always been extremely interested in international aid work. I read an Imperfect Offering over the summer and decided I wanted to become a doctor with the hope of one day working with Doctors Without Borders. I was wondering if this is something I could mention in med school applications or if it is too cliche. thanks for any advice!
