Pushkin no prob, yeah some folks do say nasty things about CC’s, state schools, etc…but to each their own. The reality though, is that some adcoms DO are under the assumption that pre-reqs are more desirable if they do come from a 4 year undergrad because there are some CC’s that may be subpar although there are also 4 year colleges like this so go figure. I guess their point is that at four year schools there is more competition (just numbers of students wise) and hence getting good grades is more difficult. I have seen excellent students come from CC’s and mediocre ones from high faluting undergrads…things can go both ways.
