i will be taking a semester off at some point in the last two years of med school. i’d like to do something productive with it – like get an mph (or some such certification) and have NO interest in doing research. does anyone know of any good (reputable) programs or projects that might be of interest? obviously, it would be hard to actually get a full mph in a semester but perhaps there are accelerated programs out there or i could start it and finish during residency. thoughts?
Never heard of an MPH that could be done in one semester.
Check out the current edition of the Bear’s Guide to nontraditional or distance learning, whatever they call it now. He’s got a good handle on degree programs with miminal on-campus residency requirements.
