Anyone want to plug their favorite school?
Ideally I’m looking for a small medical school with a well-funded research department (pursuing an MD/PhD I hope). I’d also like a system-based/progressive curriculum with early patient contact. I know Mayo fits the description, and is probably my first choice, but would like to consider other possibilities as well (since Mayo may be optimistic, especially being from out of state).

Hopkins is my first choice, but I may have to jump ship and choose Duke if my family relocates to NC next year!
Mayo is obviously an excellent choice and state of residency actually does not mean that much.
