Hi there everyone, I am currently debating whether to finish my PhD in Oncology and take my not so competitive chances (GPA= 2.8 BS, 3.3 grad)and a 31 MCAT or leave with my Master’s degree and charge full on into a post-bacc program with a linkage program? I would not be saving any time this route (assuming I am accepted somewhere my first time out.)I would be making this decision in order to ‘ensure’ entrance into medical school as I have never gotten a good answer as to how schols will view/respect my PhD versus my unspectacular academic performance.
I would greatly appreciate all advice!
PS. The University of Cork-Ireland is actually my top choice. . .anyone with experience in that area?
