Formal/Structured Post-Bacc Program Selection

Hi OPM community!

I’m hoping folks can share their experiences with various formal career changer post-bacc programs around the country.

I am a career changer with few science credits, applying to about 10 post-bacc programs around the country for hopeful matriculation for Summer 2017. I thought it would be helpful to the community (and to myself) if people would talk about there experiences in formal, structured career changer post-bacc programs. I did a search on the site first and did not find a lot where people talk about individual programs specifically.

I am considering applying to the following schools:

Bryn Mawr

Johns Hopkins

University of Virginia

Tufts

Columbia

Goucher

Washington University Saint Louis

University of Pennsylvania

Scripps

University of Vermont

Georgetown

University of Colorado Boulder

University of Louisville

University of Montana

University of Southern California

Does anyone have experience with any of these programs? Do you recommend? If so, why? If not, why not?

I’m sure you’ve checked SDN–but if not, there tends to be more info about individual postbac programs there than on the OPM site. Hopefully some people will respond to your post here and give you information; if not, check out SDN.
