General Biology vs biology

I applied for B.S. in Natural Science at Fordham University, NYC. On their courses list, they stated
General Biology
General Physics
General Chemistry
Does anyone know, if general biology = biology? or not?
I am afraid when I apply to the PA school or Medical School, the admission will say general biology is not biology.

I believe gen bio is just your standard bio degree. I would call or email one of the Fordham’s academic advisors and ask them to clarify the meaning of the term since they’ll have a better understanding of what all the degree entails.

I don’t know more about gen biology, Because I knew only about the Biology. I hope you have Good future in the science field.

I believe both are same. Nowhere in the internet I could find out any difference. The only clarification available was between biology, biological science, human biology and molecular biology. My contacts too couldn’t get an answer.
It has been a long time since you posted the question. Did you got to know the difference by now? Sharing will help us be clear too.
