Good verbal books

which verbal books did you use for the MCAT…did it help, what was the format of the book, pros and cons of the book, etc

i did some research and found this one Examkrackers 101 Passages in MCAT Verbal Reasoning (Examkrackers)

i think this will be a good "first book"-----your comments about this book

thank you

It’s actually not the EK 101 verbal passages that are good as far as learning how to do the passages is concerned. It’s simply good for practice.

It’s the EK verbal/math prep book you want to get. With this book, I easily answer at least half of the verbal questions WITHOUT reading the passage first and so far, my average on AAMC practice exams is between 11-12.

Yeah, I’m going to have to pick that one up. I got the Examkrackers 101 passages and whew…it makes you doubt yourself, even if you have a good background.
