Help! My sappy SOP needs help!

A reviewer told me to emphasize that I am different, but how do I do it without being TOO different? It now just sounds, well, OLD!

Tell us more. Who is the reviewer and what’s different about you? Try thinking of it as emphasizing what’s wonderful about you.

Not a dmaned thing wrong with being different…just avoid the extremes or being perceived as ‘weird’.

I finally figured it out, I hope. Too late now, but I can revise it for the DO schools. The reviewer was a doctor who used to work at one of the schools I considered applying to. He was verrrrry encouraging, and said I should emphasize that I am different. He said to ignore all the med school advisors. But I am different: intuitive, old, and I have lots of experience.
