I’ve started my classes for the semester, but I’m having terrible difficulty in figuring out how to secure opportunity for clinical experience. I have applied to volunteer at Mt. Sinai Surgical ICU, but the head nurse has not gotten back to me yet. Can anyone suggest how they went about gaining experience? I’m in New York City if anyone has city-specific advice… Thanks!
