Hello friends! I’m wondering how important is it take my science series at the same school?
I took bio 1 a good while ago. Many years have have come and gone. But, because I have that one bio class and I was an Army medic, my advisor told me to skip ALLLLLLL the other prereqs and take Cell and Molecular bio. Without chemistry. Having not taken a science class in many years. This was a mistake. I had to drop the class with a W, and now I am going back to take the prereqs. I am in chem 1 now, and will take chem 2 in the spring. I’m in a bit of a bind about bio though. I can probably skip re-taking bio 1 and just take bio 2. But will med schools hate seeing that? Even if I go back and take other higher level bio classes later? I’m hoping to come back and retake this cell and molecular bio class when I’m better prepared for it. Dropping this class throws a wrench in my plans because I was hoping to take Organic chem in the summer, but now I may have to take Bio 2. Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you.
Sarah
