Is there a time limit we should place on our past achievements and experiences? I have done some really cool things but I don’t know if there’s a cut-off time for how long ago is too long. For example, I studied and volunteered in Brazil (on a scholarship), but it was In 2009. On the other hand, these things show a pattern of consistent interest and growth over the years, as opposed to just doing it for an application. Is there a rule?

So I’m not sure if it applies to every school because every school is different but from what I’ve been told is you can include anything from the past 5 years.
